Harvesting the Best Looks of The Season
Fall fashion has arrived at Lake Forest College, and students are sparing no expense to showcase their most stylish pieces. Fashion, by nature, is meant for one to express themself from the inside out, channeling their inner fashionista. Just as the leaves are changing, our Foresters are trading out the jorts and tank tops for chunky sweaters and miniskirts.
This fall, textures and layers are also taking center stage. Oversized cardigans paired with denim, leather boots stomping through the quad, and flannels tied effortlessly around the waist give the campus an eclectic yet cozy feel.
Neutral tones such as beiges, creams, and browns dominate the palette, but bold pops of color are sneaking their way in through statement pieces and vibrant accessories.
Chunky jewelry, layering pieces, and vintage bags complete almost every outfit spotted between classes.
What makes this fashion stand out isn’t just the clothing itself, but the confidence with which students wear it. At the College, style is more than keeping up with trends—it’s about building identity and emphasizing diversity. Each sweater, skirt, or scarf tells a story of self-expression, creativity, and individuality.
As the air turns crisp, one thing is clear: this season, fashion isn’t just being worn, it’s being lived.
