Alex Pasiewicz ‘16 earned a spot on D3football.com’s Team of the Week for his incredible performance during Forester football’s 55-13 win against Cornell on September 17. The wide receiver achieved the longest kickoff return in the history of Lake Forest College football, and completed four touchdowns in the same game.

The Lake Forest College volleyball team stands at 4-8 on the season following a loss to Concordia Wisconsin, despite standout efforts by seniors Paige Jespersen ’17 and Brittany Avonts ’17, who dominated with six kills each. Anna Denslow ’20 recorded nine digs, a team-high, while Lexi Kleva ’18 ended with 15 assists that game.

Placing 16 out of 32 teams at the Midwest Region Fall Classic, the Lake Forest College men’s golf team had several respectable performances. Jacob Krugman ’20 was tied for the best round of the day at a score of 70 to earn 12th place with 23 pars on the weekend. Durham Ghelfi ’18 finished with a score of 81 to tie for 76th place while Davis DeKorte ’18 shot an 83 to tie for 96th place in a field of 174 players.
