For all of the people out there who have gone into the caf with wide eyes and empty stomaches and left with feelings of disappointment–this is for you.

Peanut Butter Apple Nachos

– one sliced apple
– honey (right by the tea area) – peanut butter
– chocolate chips
– caramel
– chocolate sauce
– peanuts

This one is nice and easy, take your sliced apples and arrange them on your plate in such a way that each slice can get a little piece of the action. Smear some peanut butter over the top of each slice. Sprinkle chocolate chips all over, the more the better! To finish it off, drizzle the honey, chocolate sauce, and caramel over the top of the apple slices and top with peanuts.

Egg Salad Sandwich

– hard-boiled eggs – bread
– cheese
– mustard
– pepper
– mayonnaise – salt (to taste)

In a bowl, add the eggs, cheese, mustard, pepper, mayonnaise, and salt and just mix the all together so that everything is well distributed but has not turned into one weird paste-thing. Take your bread, toasted or un- toasted, and put the egg salad mixture in between the two slices and enjoy!

Ants On a Log

– celery
– raisins (or craisins) – peanut butter

Grab as much celery as you’d like, and some raisins while you’re passing by the salad bar; next, head on down to the peanut butter and fill the curved part of the celery with the peanut butter. Grab some of the raisins and place them along the top of the peanut butter. And there you have it, ants on a log!

Pizza Bagel

– one bagel cut in half
– marinara sauce from the “pasta creations” line
– cheese
– a few pepperoni (or other meats from the sandwich line)

Take the two sides of the bagel and apply the marinara sauce to each side first; then, sprinkle on as much cheese as desired. Top with meats or simply head straight to the microwave to get this pizza party started. Put the two halves of the bagel in the microwave for 30 sec – 1 minute (really up to you). Ding! Your pizza is ready!

Other tips:

Kristen Letten ’17: “I usually take rice and I put it in my wraps. I get creative with the ice cream by combining it with a cookie and I never go to the same stations because it gets boring.”

Kassandra Perez ’19: “I will get cookies, put ice cream on top, add whipped cream and chocolate syrup. It makes the cookie softer and makes it more appealing to eat. Also, sometimes the mashed potatoes are a little plain, so I will add corn to them.”
